The Project has constructed two converter stations, terrestrially and offshore respectively. This marks the first application of VSC-HVDC transmission technology on offshore wind farms in Asia, filling multiple technological gaps in China's marine engineering sector and establishing itself as essential national strategic infrastructure in the renewable energy domain.
